Just off A45 near Irthlingborough, turn into the lay-by just north of
Irthlingborough on the A45 just past the roundabout. Car parking
through gate.

roach, rudd, carp into double figures, tench and bream. Roman Lake
carp over
40lbs. Elsons Lake This was Duncan Kay’s original Mid Northants
Fishery,
tench, carp over 39lbs, catfish over 20lbs, crucian carp, eels, perch,
pike
over 23lbs, roach, rudd and tench.
That
the object of the Stanwick Lakes
Fisheries shall be to promote the sport of angling. No
excessive
cutting of marginal plants. Members must be in possession of a current EA Rod Licence. Members are not
permitted to fish on water reserved for a competition and will be
ordered to
move. Bailiffs have the right to refuse anglers admission to the water.
Children
under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
when on Stanwick Lakes Fisheries. The rules
covering each water must be strictly adhered to. The
parking of vehicles must be in parking
areas provided. Do not cause obstruction by parking on roadways,
pathways
or blocking gateways. No trees to be cut. All hooks are to be
Barbless. No
open fires. Disabled anglers to be given priority on pegs provided. A maximum of 3 rods to be used. No fixed
leads. No moving of fish. Unhooking mats must be used. No carp to be
retained
in keepnets ( except in matches). Please shut all gates behind you.
Please
drive slowly and respect other anglers while on the complex. All
particles to
be prepared properly. All rubbish must be either taken from the
complex, which
is preferable, or if you must leave it, use the bin in the main car
park.
