Known locally as “Huckerbys”. The Lake is ½ acre with depths between 3 and 11 feet. No.3 Pond is ¼ acre. The Top Pond has no fishing allowed.


From Northampton take the old A43 through Milton Malsor into Blisworth, turn right under the railway bridge, follow the road for 1 mile to crossroads, go straight over, 1st farm on left after 200 yards.

Fishing allowed 6th June 2009 – mid March. Night fishing is allowed. Keepnets allowed for small silver fish only, NO CARP. Barbless hooks only. No litter, use rubbish bins provided.
No grounbait. Children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult. No floating baits.

Glebe Meadow Fishery [Last updated 25/08/09]

100-peg match/pleasure venue includes a lake known as Isabelle’s as well as the main river and both banks of the backwater downstream of the bridge at Ditchford.


From the A45 take the Ditchford road along to the Broadholme Sewage Works, the fishery is situated on the north bank of the Irthlingborough side of the river from the bridge down to the first fence, access is from the traffic lights into the field via a padlocked gate of which the combination is given on purchasing a day ticket.  There is no access from the sewage works roadway, any cars parked here will be clamped.

Isabelle’s Lake holds barbel, bream, crucian carp, roach and tench. River Nene holds pike, tench over 6lbs, carp, roach, bream over 8lbs, eels, perch over 2lbs and chub over 5lbs.

Normal close season rules apply on the river. No fish to be removed. No guns allowed. Barbless hooks only on Isabelle’s Lake.

No bait restrictions.

All memers and day anglers are asked to abide by the rules, any infringement could result in ticket being refused or revoked. No closed season. No fish to be removed. No bent hook rigs. Carp sack – only to be used during the hours of darkness and with prior consent. No fires. No bolt rigs. All rubbish to be put in litter bins and any litter found in occupied swim will be the responsibility of whoever is using swim at the time. All anglers must hold a current EA rod licence. No boats. Unhooking mats must be used. Two rods only, unless otherwise agreed. No keepnets to be used except in pre-arranged organised matches. No fishing whatsoever within 25 metres of electricity pylons. Barbless hooks only. Nidale, Machinery and Club lakes are only fishable during the winter months.

All particle baits to be prepared correctly.
