Only partners are allowed for each paying angler or member. No juniors are allowed to fish or accompany adults on Kingfisher or Swan lakes, juniors are classed as being under 16 years of age. Parking of all vehicles is directed by Bailiff and is subject to inspection at any time, there is no grass parking in wet weather conditions. No campervans or caravans on Kingfisher or Swan lakes. Drive to and from your peg only, no driving around fishery looking. Fishery opens at 6am and closes at 10pm in the summer, anglers and visitors will not be able to leave or enter between 10pm and 6am. Do not leave any rubbish or discarded line and hooks in your swim, bag up rubbish securely and bring to rubbish collection point. Any angler hooking a bird or animal must let the bailiff know. Strictly barbless hooks only. No fixed leads. Strictly no fishing with braided lines, hook lengths only. You will be expected to provide unhooking mats, clinic, adequate strength line [pikers have forceps and wire traces] and tackle will be subject to inspection at any time. Generally conduct yourself in a correct and proper manner with both respect to both environment and fellow anglers. Do not expect regular Bluebell anglers or the management to accept loutish behaviour, loud radios, generators etc, heavy drinking or the like. Bluebell lakes are bailiffed 24 hours and new security measures and alarms have been put in place. Unmarked and unannounced bailiffs also patrol these lakes as an added tackle watch and security measure. Strictly no heavy drinking or substance abuse on this fishery. Any anglers or visitors not adhering to the above common sense code of conduct will be escorted from the fishery. All car registration numbers are recorded and will be reported to the police should the need arise. No refunds given to any anglers who cut short their session.

No nuts in any shape or form. No trout pellets.

Disabled access is available to many of the pegs and there is a boarded section at the top of Bluebell Lake. On site café and shop open at displayed times.

British Waterways control the fishing on this 65-acre reservoir. Depths reach 12ft with an average of 8ft.

From junction 16 of M1 take A45 towards Daventry, and then take A361 to Byfield. At Byfield take first right, reservoir is on the left-hand side.

Two lakes situated in a very quiet location. A place you would have never thought existed, with a history of its own, Henry 1st having stayed there.

Take the A45 from Northampton until you reach the Daventry roundabout, turning back on yourself before taking the 2nd farm entrance on the left, marked Newnham Grange Farm. Follow the lane until you reach the farm.

Brickhill Farm Fishery, Eydon [Last updated 14/08/08]

Former brickwork’s that had two lakes dug out during the mid 1990’s. The Bottom Pool is about an acre in size, 20 pegs and a feature island, depths here rnge from between 2ft to 14ft. The Top Pool is about half an acre in size with 11 pegs and depths to 14ft.

From Junction 16 of the M1 head towards Daventry on the A45. Just after Dodford turn left onto the B4037 and go through Newnham. When you reach the A361 turn left again towards Banbury and when you reach Byfield take the left hand turned sign West Fardon. After about a mile turn right at the T-junction towards Eydon and after 100 yards take the left turn to Eydon and Culworth. After half a mile turn left again to Wood ford Halse and the entrance to the fishery is about 100 yards on the right.
